Activ8 Physio are a Physiotherapy Service providing home Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy to the wider community, specialising in neurological, orthopaedics, Learning Disabilities and Complex Disabilities.
We aim to provide physiotherapy in a variety of ways, for adults, to help people achieve physical fitness and health enabling individuals to live healthier and more active lives.
We offer private home visits to help people with long term or acute problems, and specialise in:
Neurological – Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Spinal Cord Injuries
Orthopaedic – Fractures, pre and post op knee and hip surgery
Joint Conditions – Osteoarthritis (OA), Spondylolysis, Rheumatoid Arthritis(RA), AS
Back Problems – Low back pain, disc prolapse and lesions, sciatica
Learning Disabilities and Complex Physical Disabilities – Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay

we also offer massage and stretching therapy for conditions and injuries.
Physiotherapy can help to:
- reduce pain, swelling and muscle spasm
- improve and maintain joint range of movement
- strengthen weak muscle groups
- increase physical fitness and functional tolerances
- re-educate normal movement patterns
- improve balance
- improve co-ordination
- improve posture
- improve self confidence
- stimulate circulation
We will arrange a home visit at your convenience, at a time and day that is best for you.
The initial home visit will include an assessment to identify your needs and goals. A physiotherapy programme will then be developed and carried out with the physiotherapist at your home.
The Physiotherapist will then visit you on a weekly basis to carry out your therapy, to ensure you optimize your potential.
Our Physiotherapists are all HCPC and CSP registered and work within the NHS too.
We also offer Hydrotherapy, a therapy carried out in a specially heated pool, in a relaxed environment with a physiotherapist. Our aim is to provide affordable and accessible hydrotherapy.
Hydrotherapy provides a variety of opportunities for clients to experience learn and enjoy new movement skills leading to maintained and increased functional skills, mobility and building self confidence.
Hydrotherapy is useful for treating a range of conditions, both acute and chronic including orthopaedic, neurological and rheumatological. We can help with pain symptoms, arthritis, RA, AS and other joint problems, low back pain, limited joint movements and weakness. We can help people with neurological problems such as stroke, Parkinson's and MS; people who have had hip or knee surgery/walking problems. We are fully trained to work with anyone with severe physical disabilities and learning disabilities (above age of 18).
We have disability pool access, with hoists and suitable showering and changing facilities and pool hoists for those unable to walk into the pool.
Our sessions are carried out in several locations across London and take place with a specially trained Physiotherapist in the pool with you.
Training, qualifications & experience
Fully qualified, HCPC and CSP registered Physiotherapists working as part of the team. Our physiotherapists have worked and continue to work in the NHS for several years and have experience in helping clients with a variety of conditions, including muscle and joint problems, neurological, orthopaedic, short and long term conditions, people with learning disabilities and complex physical disabilities.
We are fully trained and qualified in providing private physiotherapy and hydrotherapy (therapy in a specially heated pool) and are ATACP trained.
