I am a qualified massage therapist and I specialize in helping people who suffer from muscular aches and pain in their shoulders, neck and back. As a result of my therapy my clients may become pain free, enjoy better range of movement and as an added bonus their posture may improve dramatically.
ABOUT ME: In the past I have played a variety of sports and previously had a career in the corporate world in the City of London commuting every day. Some years ago I decided to train and study to become a therapist as I realised how important it was to alleviate muscular discomfort in the body for people of all ages whether this is due to recreational or leisure activities, stress or tension.
Massage Therapy - Deep Tissue Massage - Holistic Swedish Massage - Indian Head Massage - Foot and Leg Massage - General Massage for Sports Aches and Muscular Stiffness.
Therapy can be available for people of all ages but is always subject to a pre-treatment consultation.
What can I expect from my first visit?
This will involve a short consultation to establish any medical reasons as to why therapy is unsuitable for you. A treatment plan will be suggested between us and the number of sessions will be discussed depending on your symptoms. If satisfactory therapy will begin.
Do I need to remove any clothing?
In order to benefit from the manipulation of the soft tissues and muscles it is recommended that clothes are removed but you are always covered by towels except for the area being worked upon. Modesty is always a priority. However if you prefer, you can wear clothing similar to outfits you would wear for the gym, yoga etc. but it should be emphasized that the therapy may not be quite as beneficial.
Will massage be painful and are there any reactions?
Some people feel a little stiffness after Deep Tissue massage but this is generally a good sign that the therapy is working.
What are the benefits of massage?
Helps in the following:
Relieves muscle tension and stiffness, stress and anxiety.
Improves circulation of the blood.
Promotes a feeling of relaxation and well-being.
Strengthens the immune system.
Improves the condition of the skin.
