Training, qualifications & experience
Peter Bloch studied Theology, Philosophy and Classics at the University of Exeter before training with Walter Carrington at the Constructive Teaching Centre in London as a teacher of the Alexander Technique.
He has had a private Alexander Technique practice for 28 years. During this time he also taught at the Royal Northern College of Music, and for 5 years was the Assistant Director of the Manchester Alexander Technique Training School for Teachers.
Peter has a broad knowledge of the theoretical models and the therapeutic practice of several existential and relational person-centred psychotherapies. He has been developing the foundations of Bloch Healing since 1992 and has been offering it to clients as a distinct discipline since 2006.
