Nicola has been involved with homeopathy since 1982, prescribing both for herself and work colleagues. Her decision to train as a professional homeopath came from helping out at her sister's complementary health centre and seeing the return to health by so many patients. She has a wide understanding of many alternative therapies from assisting her sister Jo's practice and has an eclectic view of maintaining health. She has been an actress for many years performing on stage and screen and this profession has enabled her to develop a deep understanding of complex human emotions and behaviours.
Nicola incorporates the kinesiology techniques of muscle test response using E.D.T. training and will if needed incorporate Craniosacral Therapy within a homeopathic appointment.
For the last 4 years she has been working on a homeopathic advice line for an internationally established UK Homeopathic Pharmacy.
Training, qualifications & experience
Nicola trained at the classical New College of Homeopathy, Greenwich, going on to further training at the College of Practical Homeopathy, Finchley.
She has ongoing professional supervision with experienced homeopaths. She maintains continuing professional development by attending conferences, courses and seminars in order to deepen her practice and enlarge her understanding of naturopathy and homeopathy. She also completed a 1 year course "Plant Medicine", run by one of her teachers, Dr Craig Wright M.Tech.Hom (TN), PCH (UK), MSc (Herb.Med) (Wales), a medical homeopath, herbalist.
Currently she is studying Homeotoxicology and learning testing with a VOLL machine which will be an adjunct to her kinesiology muscle response techniques; particularly useful with allergies, toxicity, pollution, EMF and other varied health issues.
In contrast she studies Sankaran's Sensation Method in Homeopathy on an ongoing basis, attending seminars and study groups; which she has been doing since 2008.
She is registered and insured to practise both Homeopathy and Craniosacral Therapy.
