Deep Tissue massage focuses on deeper layers of muscles, tendons and ligaments. Considerate amount of pressure is applied to release chronic muscle tension and pain through slow and deep strokes. Deep tissue massage loosens tight muscle tissue, helps to oxygenate poorly circulated areas and releases adhesions in muscles and tendons. It is beneficial for people with chronic muscle tension and pain.
Swedish massage releases tension in muscles and promotes relaxation. It improves blood circulation, helps to release toxins from muscles, stimulates skin and soothes nervous system. Swedish massage is not as deep and uses less pressure. It is great for stress relieve, both emotional and physical.
Myofascial release is a blend of mild gentle stretching and massage. It allows the body's tissue to reorganise without force and release physical restrictions. Myofascial release is a treatment that involves gentle sustained pressure and stretching of the fascia (connective tissue which envelopes, separates or binds together muscles). The release of fascial tension allows greater flexibility and mobility of the muscles and underlying structures. Myofascial release sessions take 90 minutes.
