Reiki is a Japanese method for promoting relaxation and balance to the body, mind and spirit.
During day-to-day living we often accumulate stress, tension and feel depleted. Reiki is a complementary therapy that may be able to assist you in reducing physical tensions and promote an increased sense of well-being.
Reiki may be able to help you to feel physically and psychologically more relaxed, if you are:
- suffering from anxiety and/or depression;
- convalescing from injury, illness or surgery;
- in pain;
- a carer of others;
- recuperating from a hard training session;
- wanting to increase your self-care.
I was fortunate to come across Reiki when I embarked on a journey of my own self discovery. I did not realise at the time what an integral part Reiki would play in my own personal development and sense of well-being. Reiki continuously amazes me by the positive effects that it has had on both my own life and witnessing to the impact it has had on others. I recall showing up to my initial Reiki session with feelings of curiosity and excitement. I have since gone on to acquire my Gendai Reiki Master level certificate
I am located close to Durham City centre and easily accessible by car or public transport.
