Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of the oldest and well respected forms of health care and preventative medicine in the world. It’s strength lies in the individualised approach to disease and dis-harmony in the body and it’s rich history of clinical experience in treating many disorders.
As a professionally registered TCM practitioner, I am passionate about helping you understand this wonderful system of healthcare that is often misunderstood. I always strive to work with existing health care providers, when appropriate, to achieve the best outcomes for my clients.
I incorporate Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Moxibustion, Cupping, Dietary Advice, Lifestyle and Exercise in my treatments, depending on your individual requirements.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Registered Practitioner of Chinese Medicine having qualified with a double degree level (BHSc) in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Southern School of Natural Therapies in Melbourne, Australia, which has the highest standards for Chinese Medicine qualifications and practice in the West. Following practice in Australia as a member of the Chinese Medicine Registration Board (CMRB) of Victoria, I recently relocated to the UK and am currently on the council of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM). This body regulates Chinese Medicine Practitioners and ensures the highest standards of care and professionalism within the industry.
As part of my extensive training, I have studied many areas of western medicine including clinical anatomy & physiology, clinical diagnosis, pharmacology, counselling & psychology. I have also served clinical internships with Tran Nga and Steven Clavey, a world renowned specialist in the field of fertility and gynaecology.
