I am a Registered Homeopath and have been practising in the CF3 area of Cardiff since 2012.
I first became aware of homeopathy when my children were young, and found it gentle and effective. I realised that the benefits of homeopathy were something that I wanted share with others. We spent a few years living overseas and it was interesting to see that in many countries throughout the world homeopathy is one of the foremost systems of medicine, widely used and fully accepted as a part of life and health. This made me keen to learn more about this system of medicine and when the opportunity arose I enrolled in a 4 year course of study to become qualified to practise.
Training, qualifications & experience
Before becoming a Homeopath I had quite a varied career path, starting in banking followed by a number of years living and working overseas and caring for my children.
On our return to Wales I was a busy working Mum with my own business and a part time career as an Interior Design teacher.
When my children became more independent I was able to realise my dream and begin a rigorous four year course of study at the award winning British School of Homeopathy in Exeter,The final year included a year of clinical experience under supervision. After graduating I became registered with the Society of Homeopaths. Conditions of registration include an undertaking to practice ethically and to continue to update my skills and knowledge on a regular basis.
Since graduating I continue to learn every day - not only by regularly attending lectures and seminars, but also from every case I see - they're all different and each one brings something new.
I have spent time working in a general homeopathic clinic, in a clinic within a mental health charity and I have also helped run clinics for allergies. I enjoy working in my local community with flexible hours to give access to as wide a range of people as possible. I enjoy all aspects of my work and have a positive and proactive approach.
