A bit about me....
I have been a fully qualified Holistic Therapist since 1997. It is a passion that I truly love and have great respect for. I am fully qualified & insured through the Federation of Holisitic Therapists in Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage & also to make my own creams and oils using the very best pure natural ingredients such as bees wax, rich vegetable oils and pure essential oils to name but a few.....
I understand the effects of stress and how regular treatments can help you to cope with the ill effects. If you generally feel well a monthly maintenance treatment is great. If you are living with illness or suffering from stress then a more regular treatment may be needed initially to build up the benefits of the treatment. My aim is to help people cope with the day to day strains of life and to cope with ill health. Complementary therapies can be an important part of people’s coping mechanism as they help people to truly relax and in doing so kick start the natural healing process as well as taking time out for themselves.
I have a varied history and have worked in the Corporate World for many years as a PA and also been a Foster Carer during which time I realised just how important it is to nurture yourself and treat your body & mind as a whole, not just take care of the many symptoms of stress and work overload.
Being a member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists ensures I keep up to date with additional learning and development - acquiring 10 CPD points every year. This is never ending practice full of new techniques! A never ending journey.
Currently I am also studying to be a Foot Health Care Professional as I believe it is essential to have happy, comfortable feet, especially for the elders of our World. I will be fully qualified for this by the end of 2016.
Please do feel free to give me a call.
Very best wishes and good health.
