I started Orchard Lodge Clinic of Osteopathy and Naturopathy in 1982, and now work alongside 2 other osteopaths and 1 homeopath. I offer a unique mix of therapies based on the needs of individual patients. These may include osteopathy, cranial osteopathy, acupuncture, naturopathy and other physical therapies.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have been practising as an osteopath, naturopath and acupuncturist for over 30 years. I hold a B.Sc. in Chemistry from London University and a Diploma in Education from Birmingham University. I took my Diploma in Osteopathy and Naturopathy with the College of Osteopaths in London, and my Licentiate in Acupuncture with the British College of Acupuncture. I have undertaken further training in cranial osteopathy, clinical nutrition, myoneural therapy, and allergy testing.
I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council and the British Acupuncture Council, and am a senior lecturer in osteopathy for Stafford University. I am also a member of the International Cranial Association, and the Register of Naturopaths.
My holistic approach is particularly helpful if:
- You have a longstanding or recurring problem with your back or other joints or muscles
- You have other more general health problems which may benefit from a range of therapies
- Your baby suffers from sleeplessness
- You feel generally lacking in energy and overall wellbeing
- You want to lose weight or stop smoking.
