Hello. I am a practicing acupuncturist, fully licensed and insured, and a Member of the British Acupuncture Council a professional body which set high standards for safe practice. Before qualifying as an acupuncture practitioner I was a Registered General Nurse with 10 years experience in Accident and Emergency medicine in both St Richard's, Chichester and Queen Alexandra hospital in Cosham, Portsmouth.
As well as being passionate about acupuncture, I practice Tuina massage. This is a type of remedial massage which uses the principles of Chinese medicine to inform practice. It is an excellent treatment to use alongside acupuncture for problems such as low back pain, muscle pain and painful joint problems such as arthritis.
Acupuncture can help with a wide of problems such as digestive problems, IBS, stress, anxiety, tension headaches and migraine to name just a few examples.
i am also a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network, a professional group with a special interest in fertility problems. I have experience of supportive treatment during IVF and similar interventions. Acupuncture treatment is also very helpful for minor problems associated with pregnancy such as morning sickness and heartburn. I also do routine pre birth treatments.
Why not call me to see how acupuncture could help you? I'm always happy to talk.
