About me

About Me

I have always been interested in natural health and realised very early on through my studies of herbs, cleansing, fasting and enema techniques DSCF2644.JPGthat a healthy digestive system is paramount for overall good health and this led me eventually to colonic hydrotherapy.

Over the years I have changed my eating habits, my approach to life, the way I exercise and always consider my stress levels! Little changes can make a profound difference to our everyday well being. In order to enjoy life to the full we should feel energetic, positive and be free of pain.

I absolutely love my job. Seeing clients, looking at their health history, pinpointing areas that could be improved, scrutinizing the digestion during the colonic process and then making recommendations is very rewarding.

My Approach

I take a natural approach to healing which means looking at eating and life style habits first and then using herbs if they are required. We cannot change things overnight so often we have to re-educate ourselves over a period of time. Each client has a programme to suit their needs and you leave the clinic with a lot of general digestive information, which i hope will be of value.  At the clinic i take time to listen, there is never a feeling of being rushed.

Why should i have colonic hydrotherapylogo.jpg

When our body is functioning well it does exactly what it was designed to do and can often heal itself. Unfortunately when it is out of balance it often requires some assistance to enable that healing to take place. Our busy lives, food and drink choices, drugs, alcohol, smoking and pollution all have a part to play in this.

What is Colonic Hydrotherapy

It is a very simple way of cleansing the colon with warm, filtered water. It rids the body of accumulated waste; excess gas; exercises and tones the muscles and reshapes and re-hydrates the colon.

I use a gravity system, which is very gentle, and all my tubing is disposable. There is a video on the 'Information' page of my website so if you are interested in finding out more then please visit www.colonicsmarketharborough.co.uk

Training, qualifications & experience

I trained with the Association of Registered Colonic Hydrotherapists (ARCH) and have my own clinic in Market Harborough. I also hold a Master DSCF2621.JPGHerbalist Diploma.

I see clients with Irritable Bowl Syndrome (IBS), constipation, excess gas, toilet urgency, digestive discomfort, bloating, halitosis (bad breath), diverticuli, haemorrhoids and others come due to tiredness, sluggishness, headaches, yeast overgrowth or are cleansing/fasting or using the therapy to kick start a health eating regime.
