I qualified as a therapist in 2000 with the London College of Massage.
During my time in London I had a private practice treating clients and also worked in a number of five star hotel spa’s, within businesses offering on site massage, as well as in nursing homes and rehabilitation centres.
After having my two children I took a break from working and re-trained to become a teacher. I have been teaching the ITEC Diploma in Massage for four years; it is a real pleasure to teach this amazing skill to others.
I am now practising at Body Shape Pilates in Parkstone. I am passionate about the benefits of regular treatment and enjoy the rewards of helping clients to improve their well being through massage. I consider myself to be on a learning journey with complementary therapy. I have gained a number of massage qualifications, as well as holistic and remedial massage I am also an infant massage instructor, have completed injury prevention courses and a foundation in Advanced Clinical Massage with the Jing Institute. I believe it is essential to continue learning in order to be an effective therapist.
