I work from home in Roath, Cardiff. There is street parking and a very good bus service.
I have been a Teacher of The Alexander Technique since 1986 and a Craniosacral Therapist since 1997. I am experienced in working with all kinds of back problems both acute and chronic.
I have been teaching at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama since 1989 and enjoy teaching The Alexander Technique to performers in all disciplines.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have completed a 3 year training as an Alexander Technique teacher and have been a Member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique since 1986.
In addition to my private practice, I have been teaching drama students at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama since 1989. I have taught numerous Adult Education courses. I have also taught classes for the National Assembly of Wales and the Drama Association of Wales. I am also experienced in teaching performers of all kinds, from musicians to singers or horse riders.
I trained in Craniosacral therapy with Thomas Attlee at the College of Craniosacral Therapy in London. I qualified in 1997. I am registered with the Craniosacral Therapy Association. I am experienced in working with all manner of conditions, particularly back pain, chronic pain, or recovery from surgery. I do not usually work with babies or young children, though I am experienced at supporting mothers through pregnancy.
