Welcome to Picts Hill Practice. I am John Harris and am fully qualified in On Site Chair Massage (OSM), Reflexology, Sports Massage, Swedish Remedial Massage and Indian Head Massage.
I have been practising since 2003 and am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists. Having had a long career in advertising and latterly in the NHS I have seen the effect stress and tension can have on an individual and also on a workforce.
I absolutely believe that massage practices when correctly delivered can bring a significant benefit to the individual by reducing physical tensions and blood pressure, relaxing the mind, releasing endorphins and making people feel better in themselves. This in turn enables them to deliver an improved performance whether in an office, classroom or at home.
Back in 2001 I undertook a course of massage treatment to tackle my stress levels that were threatening to overwhelm me. The course proved to be very beneficial to me so much so that I decided to train in it so that I could spread the message myself, and was one of the best moves that I ever made.
I ran a clinic from my home in Reading for seven years providing stress-busting treatments to individuals and also to employers in the Thames Valley. Now based in Hartley Wintney, I am looking forward to meeting you and providing complementary therapies to clients in the north Hampshirearea.
