I offer a warm and direct approach to working with my clients.
You can choose your massage session to suit your needs; If you want to come for relaxation, you choose a deep tissue massage, if you need help with a specific problem you choose a clinical massage session. .
Clinical massage session has three parts:assessment, treatment and exercise. I first assess you by screening specific movements and asking questions about the pain or restriction in movements. I treat you on the basis of the assessment and then give you exercises to help you getting better. You get a print-out of the exercises in the end of the session. We will discuss the need of further treatments in the end of your session.
Relaxing/Deep Tissue Massage is a way to get your body to relax. The depth of the massage is determined by you. I can go deep, but if it is not desired, I will give you a lighter massage. Massage is an antidote for stress as well as being a real booster of well-being chemicals.
Kinesiology offers a way to communicate with your body. It is a fantastic way to find "your way" through issues of the life. You stay clothed in the session and the investigation is made by muscle testing. You set a goal in the beginning of the session pertinent to the topic you want to have help with. Here is a list of a few goals, just to show the variety of what can be worked with.
- "I stay calm and centred in stressful work situations"
- "My digestive system is healthy and well functioning"
- "I run with ease and joy"
- "I allow myself to feel all emotions"
- "I feel worthy and lovable"
