My name is Jan, and I am a Clinical Reflexologist offering individualised treatments throughout Bridgwater, Taunton, West Somerset and the Quantocks.
Reflexology can benefit the majority of people of all ages. As a gentle, non-invasive therapy, many people use Reflexology to relax body and mind, to re-balance, revive energy levels, to increase well-being and reduce dis-ease.
I provide a mobile service offering Reflexology in Bridgwater, Taunton, Williton, Watchet- throughout West Somerset and the Quantocks.
Stress displays in many forms and is an underlying influence in many health conditions. We all need a little 'me time' in our lives - time to relax and reflect - an essential investment in our future health and well being.
I take a pro-active and holistic approach to treatment planning, designed individually to promote and prioritise the outcomes you want to achieve. Hours are flexible and, with treatments delivered in you own home, you can take full advantage of the opportunity to relax fully afterwards.
Training, qualifications & experience
I began my career as a Clinical Reflexologist in the Midlands, training with Jubilee College, a reflexology college offering the highest level of training available in the UK. While practicing Reflexology in the Midlands I was privileged to be part of the Complementary Therapy team of St Giles Hospice, providing treatments for patients and carers. In 2013 I relocated to Somerset and now practice throughout the West Somerset area.
I discovered Reflexology as a means to address my own health concerns some years ago. I have since seen many examples of the benefits experienced by others. Reflexology is my preferred therapy and I have chosen additional training to develop my Reflexology skills, rather than qualify in multiple therapies. The exception to this is Thermo-Auricular Therapy, also known as Hopi Ear Candling, a therapy which complements Reflexology due to its very specific application.
As a member of the Association of Reflexologist (AOR) I have up to date information on new developments and training opportunities to the highest standard. AOR demands the highest level of qualification and Continuing Professional Development.
Since qualifying I have undertaken additional training in Auricular Reflexology, Enhancing Fertility & Maternity Care and Reflexology in Palliative Care. I am also a qualified Thermo-Auricular Therapist. Most recently I became an authorised practitioner of Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage following training with Sally Kay.
I am currently offering treatments in your own home. Alternatively, I have my own treatment room and discounts may be available if you choose this option - please ask for details. I cover the West Somerset area, including Bridgwater - for treatments individually designed for you, by a fully qualified and Registered Reflexologist, please contact me on my listed telephone number, or by email.
