Fertility support is available using reflexology, and The Fertile Body method which uses hypnotherapy. I can offer a combination of these.
Shiatsu is a fully clothed therapy where a gentle palm and thumb pressure is applied to the acupuncture meridians and points,(so incorporating acupressure),it is both relaxing and energising and helps your body to rebalance.
Pregnancy - reflexology can support you through pregnancy by providing relaxation, and improving your feelings of wellbeing and promoting restful sleep. It can be a useful part of your preparation for labour.
Another labour preparation available is a light touch massage treatment similar to that taught in hypnobirthing classes which aims to help you to relax deeply and the touch helps your body to release oxytocin, necessary for labour.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
