Jamie Webb is founder of Brighton Sports Therapy and is a self-confessed geek, albeit a very nice and personable one! His constant questions of ‘why?’ and ‘how?’ led him to discover Doug Heel’s Muscle Activation, which combined with his other skills make up Progressive Sports Therapy. His journey of learning is ongoing and Jamie is constantly seeking out and researching new ideas and approaches from sports therapists and physiotherapists around the world.
Jamie coined the phrase ‘Progressive Sports Therapy’ to help explain his approach: it includes traditional physiotherapy, sports therapy, sports massage and Muscle Activation. This is a relatively new technique which Jamie learned from renowned physiotherapist and kineisiologist Doug Heel. Jamie’s ethos is ‘to improve the quality of people’s lives’ and he has dedicated his professional career to this end. He performed over 10,000 treatments at his successful clinic in Swindon before making the move to Brighton in 2012.
