I am a Bowen Technique Practitioner with a busy practice based in Carmarthen, West Wales. I have two relaxing treatment rooms in the centre of Carmarthen but I also carry out home visits for those who cannot travel.
Bowen is a soft tissue, non-invasive, gentle and highly effective therapy that is suitable for all ages from pregnant mums to new-borns and the elderly.
It can help re-balance the body to enable healing, pain/stress reduction, improve overall health and optimise fitness.
I have a particular interest in the use of Bowen with sports, especially equine disciplines and rugby. I am also very interested in how Bowen can help those with mental health problems and its calming effect on the nervous system in general.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified with the European College of Bowen Studies in 2012 and have been attending CPD workshops on a regular basis to develop my knowledge and skills so that I can offer a more comprehensive service to those in need.
I believe whole heartedly in supporting people to be the best they can be, to fulfil their dreams and live a full a life as they can and want.
I am a qualified and very experienced Equine Consultant/Instructor and hold demonstrations and training sessions regularly for local riders and clubs. In conjunction with the Bowen, I work very closely with riders and their horses to produce a more balanced partnership both physically and mentally. I am hoping to qualify as an Equine Bowen Practitioner within the next two years.
I am very interested in psychology, both with animals and people and have the Intermediate and Advanced Counselling Skills courses under my belt.
