I am a chartered human and veterinary physiotherapist based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. I offer physiotherapy assessments and treatment to people, horses and dogs. All appointments (whether for you or your pet) are carried out as home visits. I travel to anyone within a 30 mile radius of Cheltenham.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2009 from the University of Birmingham. Since then I have gained a wide range of experience in both the NHS and private sector. During my career I have treated a huge variety of different patients with problems ranging from sporting injuries to long-term conditions. Having always been an animal lover and growing up around horses and dogs, in 2014 I undertook a PGDip in Veterinary Physiotherapy in order to allow myself to treat animals as well as people, and now enjoy adding dogs and horses to my physiotherapy caseload.

Why use a chartered veterinary physiotherapist?
The titles “veterinary physiotherapist” and “animal physiotherapist” are not protected by law, meaning that anyone can call themselves a veterinary or animal physiotherapist regardless of qualifications or training. However, Chartered veterinary physiotherapists are Category A members of ACPAT (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy). This ensures that they have completed a minimum of 3 years training to become a human physiotherapist, and a further 2 years training to become a veterinary physiotherapist.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
