I am experienced physiotherapist and qualified Bowen Technique Practitioner. I was also trained in MNRI method - Tactile Integration therapy which is employed for children and adults faced with developmental challenges or after trauma. The method is oriented on the stimulation in order to awaken natural self-regeneration skills of your body. The Tactile Integration program uses neuro-tactile techniques ( touch with varying pressure) to stimulate different receptors in the skin. People with poor sensory integration for example too sensitive to touch, sounds, light etc. or seeking for sensory stimulation may benefit from this therapy. Currently I work with children with special needs. I also use the Bowen Technique procedures to assist recovery from many traumatic injury to chronic illness. The method is "hands-off", "hands-on" treatment. I use my thumbs or fingers on certain points around the body, making rolling type moves over the soft tissue-muscle, tendon, ligament- and in between each set of moves, I may leave the room to allow a response to take effect. The priority of my work is an holistic approach to the patient and their complaints. The services I provide are appropriate to use for individuals of all ages and in all degrees of health. I would be pleased to see you in my treatment room in Cannock.
