Meaningful Soles Reflexology - Emma Finch
When the body and mind are in good order...the body is better placed to its own healing and repair...
'For many years of my life I thought one came down with a mood just as one comes down with a cold. but slowly I learned that moods are a product of purposeful unconsciousness and can be rectified by the very consciousness one worked so hard to evade.' Robert A Johnson - Lecturer & Jungian analyst
Based on the principle that certain points or 'reflexes' in our feet and hands correspond with each and every part of our body, the holistic practice of Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy that helps relieve stress and tension, aids sleep, improves mood, enhances general wellbeing and encourages restoration of your body's natural balance by massaging/manipulating specific reflex points. Reflexology also promotes good circulation, improves and unblocks nerve impulses, and most importantly it gives us time and space to be heard.
After receiving one of my treatments it is good to allow the body to fully integrate what goes on during a session. You may feel like you need a sleep, or some quiet time etc. Some symptoms may worsen before they improve. If you have any concerns, please feel free to talk things through with me before and after the session.

Training, qualifications & experience
I primarily practice the Ingham Method of reflexology, as taught by the International Institute of Reflexology, developed by Eunice Ingham in the 1930's, and incorporate Precision Reflexology and ART techniques into the treatment - depending on who I am treating. Most forms of western reflexology have grown out or Eunice's teachings. I am very interested in how the mind and body work together, and find reflexology the perfect medium for connecting with people to help them on their healing journeys.
