About me

Eli Afshar is a highly qualified Chinese Medicine Practitioner and a pioneer of cosmetic acupuncture and dermaroller therapy in London. She has also received specialised and certified training in Fertility and Menopause.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture, also known as cosmetic acupuncture or beauty acupuncture, acts like a natural facelift. It improves energy, blood and lymph circulation to the skin and muscles though the application of ultra-fine needles to key points on the face and body.

Acupuncture stops wrinkles forming and reduces the appearance of fine lines. Collagen production is increased, as is the secretion of growth hormone. The skin is more elastic, facial muscles plumped and puffiness/dark circles beneath the eyes are minimised. Highly effective, pain-free and with no downtime, facial rejuvenation acupuncture is regularly used by celebrities such as Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cher.

Eli begins each session by identifying and diagnosing the client’s general condition. Her holistic facial acupuncture treatment is a bespoke rejuvenating method that treats not just the face, but also the whole body including the underlying causes of ageing.

Diet, Nutrition and lifestyle advice is also offered as part of Eli’s holistic approach.

Facial Exercises may also be recommended to help maintain and enhance the effects of the treatment.

Dermaroller, also know as collagen induction therapy or micro needle therapy, provides results similar to Laser Resurfacing, Fraxel® and Chemical Peels but at a fraction of the cost and with no downtime.

The technique creates a multitude of tiny puncture wounds to the dermis which induces the release of growth factors that stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin. Unlike with other resurfacing techniques, Dermaroller does not remove the healthy epidermis, which means that the treatment is relatively painless and there is virtually no downtime.

Dermaroller treatment is an extremely effective way of reducing the appearance of scars, especially pitted scars from acne, chicken pox, and other injuries. Only keloid and raised scars are not likely to benefit from the micro needle therapy.

Firmness and tightness can be restored to flaccid skin. Wrinkles, lines, folds and crow’s feet are reduced. Pigmentation marks are lightened.

Dermaroller is effective as a stand-alone treatment or as an excellent complement to Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
