Having graduated from Cardiff Metroplitan University in January 2012 I've been working very hard to build my client base and what a lovely bunch they are! As I've been located in a chiropractic clinic for the last three years I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience in remedial massage. As well as massage clients I also have regular Reflexology clients who come along to maintain their general health. I have also trained in Maternity Reflexology and work with ladies who are looking to become pregnant and want to prepare their bodies for conception or who are already pregnant.
Having been involved with a research project using Reflexology for secondary lymphoedema, (swelling in the arm following breast cancer) I also offer RLD Reflexology for Lymphatic Drainage for this and other conditions. In addition to this I have volunteered at the St David's Hospice in Newport once a week since Sept 2013 so have experience working with patients with cancer and other chronic conditions.

Having worked in an office for many years, I was, like many, made redundant. I went back to uni to retrain and chose a profession which would allow me to work with people and which had a 'medical' slant (I was a big ER fan!). I now get to meet the most fantastic individuals, hear their life stories and (hopefully) bring some relief from whatever ailment they come to see me with. I continue to expand my knowledge whenever I can as I enjoy what I do so much and want to learn more. I just love my job!
Premises and Parking
The Parkwood Chiropractic premises in Pontcanna is less than 5 mins from Cardiff Castle on the edge of the City Centre and close to Sophia Gardens. Passing the Castle on your right go through the first set of traffic lights (past the Angel Hotel) and at the next set of traffic turn right onto Cathedral Road. Parkwood Chiropractic clinic is at number 93, a little way up on the right just past the Beverley Hotel which is on the same block.
Although limited, parking is available at the rear of the premises. Turn left at the Beverley Hotel into Plasturton Place, then turn right into the lane parallel to Cathedral Road. The Parkwood Chiropractic parking area is signposted half way down the lane on the right.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
