I have a wealth of experience with athletes & sporting individuals, juvenile injury, community care, working with the elderly, general public of all ages and backgrounds, age related pain, pregnancy, chronic pain management, individuals with physical disability, mental health and epilepsy (Rectal diazepam trained). I have also been involved in stoma care in the past, so please dont feel embarrassed - I am here to help.
As a Sports Therapist, I am able to assess, treat and advise on exercise to rehabilitate and speed up return to play, either competitively or for fun and fitness. You do not have to have a sporting injury to see me as the mechanisms of injury are the same irrespective of how they were obtained. Most individuals who present to me will have various imbalances that I can improve upon.
Therefore, I can help you manage chronic pain, post operative scarring and muscle/fascia imbalances. If you just want a soothing relaxing treatment, please say at the time of booking and I will schedule it accordingly. My Fiance is a consultant Osteopath, so if on assessment I feel you need a manipulation, I will advise accordingly and you then have the option to keep your health care in house, which is great for continuity.
I am of course happy to work with your GP, to deliver the best care for you.
PLEASE NOTE: If I am treating, driving or riding a horse I will not answer my phone. Please leave me a message, text, or email and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I do not return calls if no message has been left.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
