I am Senior Osteopath At The One Body Clinic. I and my team are passionate about health and how this is unique to the individual. As a primary care professional, we appreciate and enjoy the responsibility to listen, observe, diagnose, manage and evaluate in a patient-centred manner. I currently enjoy treating clients in two well-established London clinics, whilst working (and living) in Wales. We work alongside some fantastic clinicians to encourage the best possible care of clients in need of pain management, corrective exercise and nutritional advice amongst other things.GOsC Registered Osteopath Masters in Osteopathy Diploma in Naturopathy Certificate in Medical Acupuncture Kinesio Taping Academic prize-Applied Natural Therapeutics (naturopathy and visceral).
Approach to Therapy and How I Work.
Experience of treating anyone and everyone: office workers, triathletes, martial artists, netball, tennis and squash players, parents and children, olympic weightlifters, personal trainers, runners, health professionals, footballers...
Clinical experience has revealed how body structure mirrors current and desired function as well as past injury. The growing competitive nature of sport increases training demands that cause a multi-system body response and neuromuscular changes; therefore overactivity is sometimes as detrimental as inactivity. A state of health is deeply personal; relying on balance between stress and rest, nutrient delivery and waste removal, mind and body. Using an array of personally tailored techniques, body system function can be restored. Such clinically effective techniques improve flexibility, circulation, muscle tone and regeneration through neurological effects on muscle groups and myofascial components. Treatment is focused on the symptomatic area as well as any areas that contribute to pain or stiffness. When treatment is combined with adequate nutrition, natural body systems will optimally respond.
