Dalbir Kala BSc (Hons)
Pure Herbal Healing is run by a qualified natural health consultant specialising in natural plant based medicine using traditional methods backed by modern scientific research.
Herbal medicine is based on the traditional use of plant-based medicines to treat and prevent a wide range of conditions, as well as to maintain optimal health. The study of Herbal Medicine is obtained through an institution approved by the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH), the UK's leading professional body representing herbal medicine practitioners who follow strict codes of conduct, ethics and practice, and regulates the profession. Medical Herbalists look at the person as a whole and not just the symptoms they present with. A treatment plan is then tailor-made which will include diet and lifestyle advice.

BSc (Hons) Herbal Medicine
Initial Consultation: £45
Follow Up: £40
Block Booking: 3 appointments £99
Mini Consultation: £20
The first consultation takes at least one hour where a detailed case history is taken of your present problem as well as your overall general health. This may also include further information such as current medication, recent tests, lifestyle and diet, in order for me to assess what may be going on. This information will help guide me to the course of treatment I will carry out.
Every person is treated individually and the medicine will be tailor-made according to the symptoms presented. Alongside this I may also suggest lifestyle and nutritional advice to further promote the body's natural healing process during the course of treatment. Additionally, I may suggest other interventions which may include visits to your GP for further investigations such as a blood test.
A follow up visit lasts about 45 minutes, usually about 3 to 4 weeks after the first visit. These are arranged to monitor the treatment and review the herbal prescription.
Your medicine will be tailored specifically for you based on your state of health and the symptoms you present with. These may be in the form of a tincture, tea, syrup, cream, lotion or oil. All the herbal medicines are sourced from companies which adhere to stringent quality control methods to ensure you are getting pure high potency herbs with GMP status, the mark of integrity for quality control. It is also important that these medicines are from a sustainable source which helps to protect the biodiversity of natural plant products.
Prescriptions are usually posted to you following your appointment.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
