Profile

I am an acupuncturist and Tuina practitioner, working from a clinic in West Hampstead and from home in Muswell Hill.

I specialise in the treatment of stress-related conditions like tight muscle areas, digestive problems or sleep disorders.

My long-term training in Tai Chi and Qi Gong with the Mei Quan Academy of Tai Chi has giving me a very practical understanding of stress and relaxation, which I incorporate into my treatments.

If necessary, I advise on breathing exercises and relaxation techniques for patients to "take the treatment home" and achieve long-lasting benefits.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I qualified after a full-time 3-year course at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture (LCTA, BSc in Acupuncture).
I have since been on 3 study trips to Zhejiang hospital, in Hangzhou, China, to witness first-hand how acupuncture is used there in a conventional hospital setting.

There I also learnt Tuina massage, as practiced by Chinese Tuina doctors.
I have practiced at the Pain Clinic of the Royal Free Hospital, working closely with Dr. Ordman and the medical team there, which has taught me how to work alongside Western medicine.

Between 2006 and 2010, I was a module co-ordinator and lecturer at the LCTA, sharing my passion for the practical applications of Qi to treatment with the students there.
