Colin has a down to earth approach and is passionate about helping people understand how to relate to their own body by explaining the psychology of pain/dysfunction in a simple way. People from all walks of life come to Colin for bodywork as he is strong, professional, empathetic and knowledgeable.
Colin has over ten years experience in complementary therapies and has studied Myofascial Release (a system that evaluates the fascia by using osteopathic methods, craniosacral therapy, structural integration and physical therapy), Aromatherapy, Yoga, Psychotherapy, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology and Thai Yoga Massage. He regularly treats patients with ME, Fibromyalgia, Psychosomatic Trauma, Chronic Fatigue, Sciatica, Neck Pain, Back Pain, Flat Feet, Pelvis and Hip Issues, Pregnancy and Post-Natal Issues, TMJ Issues, Frozen Shoulder…..and more. Colin supports athletes though rehabilitation and with tailored bespoke sports performance programs.
Colin enjoys working with patients by adapting functional movement to individualise them for particular pathologies and conditions. He is able to take each patients personality and body type into consideration by bringing together a collaboration of techniques and styles. Colin has firm understanding of the anatomy and an inherent instinct knowing what is needed with each session.
