Training, qualifications & experience
I was trained in Holistic Massage Therapy in Bristol with the Massage Training Institute (MTI) in 2012, being taught by Andy Fagg, a well respected director of the MTI. This involved anatomy, physiology and pathology, and mastering a wide range of techniques, including:
- Deep Tissue Massage: Can relieve severe tension in muscles.
- Mobilisation and Passive Joint Movement: Can increase and improve movement of the joints.
- Gentle Holds: Can bring awareness to the entire body.
- Lymph Drainage: Can help to boost the immune system.
- Energy Work: Can restore the balance of energy within the body.
I regularly attend on-going courses to discover, expand and improve techniques and knowledge, alongside additional supervision classes. This forms part of my Continual Professional Development (CPD).
Being a qualified massage therapist, I'm registered with the Massage Training Institute (MTI) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), and have full professional insurance.
