Christian Huber MRSS
I work with a wide range of age groups with varying health needs and following consultation with you can adapt treatments to fit your individual needs. Shiatsu is a hands-on therapy using Ki (energy) to help straightening weak areas, relax tension, re-balance and stimulate the mind and body to work harmoniously.
This ancient therapy approach originated in Japan and is based on the holistic system of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Shiatsu treatment is holistic, with the practitioner working on the whole body rather than focusing on the area where symptoms are most obvious.
Finger and palm pressure, stretches and joint rotations are applied to various points of the body to energise or release stuck Ki in our energy channels (meridians), which can become weak or blocked by a build-up of stress and prolonged emotions in our daily lives.
