I am a Belper (Derbyshire) based therapist who provides Thai Yoga Massage and Reflexology.
The Thai Yoga Massage that I offer is a 2 hour session that incorporates yoga stretches, pressure point work, & deep muscle work which leaves the person feeling grounded, centred and refreshed. The massage is suited to the individual's needs and body type. It is carried out on a futon mattress on the floor, this enables me to apply a deep and even pressure throughout the session.
The Reflexology session is also carried out on the floor on a mattress. The session is dynamic and the person will move positions to allow me to apply a deep and even pressure over the whole foot.
I have taken the time to ensure the space dedicated to these sessions is a private, peaceful and relaxing environment.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have been working as a self employed therapist for approx. 14 months, specialising in Thai Yoga Massage and Reflexology.
I completed my Thai Yoga Massage training with Julian Cosmo Kemp in Nottinghamshire. The qualification is a Level 1 and 2 Diploma in Thai Yoga Massage.
My Reflexology training was completed in 2003 at The East Midlands College of Health and Beauty. The qualification is an ITEC Diploma in Complimentary Therapies.
During the last 14 months I have worked with a variety of people with different body types which has enabled me to develop my skills and learn the postures confidently.
Thai Yoga Massage (2 Hours)
Thai Yoga Massage (1.5 Hours)
Reflexology (1 Hour)
These are a general guideline, however, I am happy to extend sessions if required by the person.
I love the connection that massage brings between people.
We all react positively to the right 'touch' and its healing powers have been evident time and time again.
Thai Yoga Massage is a unique and wonderful massage. It creates balance and harmony to all systems of the body, enabling full and healthy function.
