I have seen all sorts of benefits of the Alexander Technique - some unexpected, as people put the principles into action. I work with individuals on postural problems that can lead to aches and pains, psychological ones like stress and anxiety and where it is probably best known in improving performance for athletes, musicians and anyone who depends on personal skills.
I have just moved to the Isle of Wight and can offer regular lessons in Ryde and Lake (I am looking at other areas so check my website) and run 'introductory' workshops for any interested group or business.
If you have any questions please do not be afraid to get in touch.
'Charles is an excellent teacher, caring and understanding. The Alexander Technique is very calming and certainly helps with your posture. I have become a much less anxious person - Charles helps you to go about life in a much less stressful manner - give it a try - I am sure you will be delighted .'

Training, qualifications & experience
I completed the three year training in 1992 and I am a full teaching member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT). I have since added some useful qualifications in coaching and counselling.
The BA comes from my previous life as a graphic designer so I have an understanding of the tricky business world too.

The price of an individual lesson is £40 daytime and £45 in the evening. Sounds a lot but it is a couple of pizzas a lesson and remember you will have this for life.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
