I came to the Technique because of whiplash injuries which I had been told I would have for the rest of my life. After a few months of Alexander Technique lessons all was well. Impressed something so nuts-and-bolts simple could make such amasing changes I went on to do the three year training.
I used to be a graphic designer and understand very well the pressures of business and trying to maintain a sensible lifestyle.
About The Alexander Technique
I have been teaching the Technique since 1992 working with a wide range of people of all ages and abilities for a variety of reasons and nearly all have benefitted. All it takes is an open mind and a willingness to try a new experience.
It is a psycho-physical process so it is just as much about what and how you think as what you do (not that we can seperate the two). We will look for any habit patterns that limit performance in any way and try to restore a natural sense of poise and balance so any action can be performed with less effort reducing stress and tension.
People come to me because they have aches and pains, postural problems, are stressed and full of tension, and because they want the best from themselves. I've worked with top athletes and many professional musicians and actors.
And no you do not need to take your clothes off - just your shoes.
If you are not sure if it can help you please make use of my FREE telephone consultation.
