The Shiatsu Health Centre has been in existence since 1995, and is run by Catherine Scanlon, a qualified, registered shiatsu practitioner. Catherine trained at the British School of Shiatsu-Do in London, graduating in 1996, and joining the professional register of the Shiatsu Society in 1997.
Catherine has professional experience gained working at the Holistic Health Centre at the Findhorn Foundation in northern Scotland, and presently in Milton Keynes and the south of England.
We offer individual shiatsu treatments to help promote wellbeing, and support management of a variety of health issues.

Training, qualifications & experience
1994-1996 British School of Shiatsu Do (3 year part-time training).
1997-2015 Member of the professional Register of the Shiatsu Society (UK)
1995-2000 practice in Scotland, based at the Findhorn Foundation Holistic Health Centre, and then at Newbold House.
2000-2001 Alternatives, Milton Keynes.
2001-present Shiatsu Health Centre based in Simpson Village.
On-site treatments at businesses.
Individual treatments for people with a range of conditions, including stroke, multiple sclerosis, and to promote wellbeing generally.
Japanese Yoga classes - exercises, do-in, chi kung - several years in Scotland, and many years in Milton Keynes area.
Other available therapies
I also offer facilitation of the Transformation Game - either in a group of 2-6, or individually. This is great to allow a time of reflection on a particular issue important to you, and can help organise your thoughts, and open up how to go forward.
£50 for a one-off session (OK if not a particular health issue).
£70 for an initial consultation (including shiatsu treatment)
