Profile

I am an Osteopath living and working in Salisbury, Wiltshire. I work mainly with gentle techniques to ease pain and achieve better balance in the body when the demands of life style, injury or illness have caused discomfort.

Head, neck or back pain are common presentations, but I also treat problems elsewhere in the body. We experience life as a complete and individual person: osteopathy aims to help the complete individual, not just the painful part.

My special interests within osteopathy are paediatrics (babies and children) and respiratory problems in all age groups.

I work on Mondays and Wednesdays at Neals Yard Remedies in central Salisbury. I also work at Church Street Practice in Bradford on Avon, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I trained at the British School of Osteopathy, graduating in 2002 with a first class honours degree.

Since this time I have pursued post graduate study in cranial osteopathy with the Sutherland Cranial College, and have studied the Biodynamic curriculum. These approaches have deepened my understanding of the way the body works and responds to its environment. I have also completed training to teach the Buteyko Breathing Technique - a breathing programme which is particularly effective in the control of asthma symptoms.

I have worked in the same two practices for the past 10 years where I see a variety of patients, ranging from the newborn to the elderly and everything in between.
