The European Shiatsu School
Andrew Parfitt qualified in Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese medicine in Reading and has been a member of the British Acupuncture Council since 1997.
He studied shiatsu with the European Shiatsu School and has been in practice since 2002 and has been a Shiatsu Society registered teacher since 2005. Andrew set up the Eastbourne branch of the European Shiatsu school in 2004 and has since concentrated on teaching residential courses, as well as seated massage and sotai workshops.
In 2008 Andrew gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Nutritional therapy from the LCTA and University of East London. Andrew originally qualified as a Chef and has spent more than 35 years cooking both professionally and for fun including owning a highly rated restaurant for seven years. His passion for cooking continues and Andrew will be the inspiration behind the meals on all the courses. Andrew is an instructor for Eastbourne Kuk Sool Won and has been involved in martial arts at a high level for over 25 years and will bring elements of this knowledge into the morning Qigong as well as the daily classes.
I have just completed Instructor training in Taiji Qigong Shibashi with Sifu Wing Cheung of TaiChi18, who is based in Canada and has a worldwide network of instructors. I also practice Yoga and have been doing so sporadically since the 1970\'s.

PgDip Nutritional Therapy - LCTA - 2006 - 2008.
