Training, qualifications & experience
I hold ITEC diplomas in Holistic Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology and Diet and Nutrition.
I also have postgraduate certificates in Pregnancy Massage, Pregnancy Reflexology, Light Touch Energy Reflexology, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Stone Massage, Hot Stone Reflexology and Advanced Massage Techniques.
I studied Reiki for almost 3 years to achieve her Reiki Master Teacher level.
I became interested in complementary therapies and medicines many years ago after being involved in a car accident; she didn't want to take all the tablets prescribed by doctors, as she knew that they all have side effects. I began to look into ways that she could deal with pain that did not involve taking tablets. Iwas fascinated by what she had experienced and decided to study Massage, Indian head massage, Herbal medicine, Counselling, Reiki and Reflexology.
All of these still fascinate me and I'm continually studying as I believe that it is important to keep up-to-date with all that is continuously changing within the field of complementary therapies.
I work from a therapy centre which is just off Balham High Road.
The centre is easy to find with free parking in the Sainsburys car park for 2 hours along with pay and display meters on the surrounding streets.
The centre is less than a 5 minute walk from the tube station (Northern line) and train station (regular trainds from Clapham Junction and Victoria).
Alternatively, buses which serve Balham High Road are 155, 249, 315 and 355.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies, treatments or making any major changes in your diet or exercise programme.
