About me

Promoting the pattern of good health.

As a VTCT qualified Complementary therapist, the aim of my practice is the help you make the most of your most precious resource - your body.

At Honeycomb Holistic Therapies, you can expect a warm welcome; a short consultation to make sure that your chosen therapy is safe and appropriate for you; and a comfortable, safe environment where your body can rest and repair.

As well as a therapy room in my home, I also offer a mobile therapy service to those who prefer or require me to come to them. An additional fee is payable for mobile therapy, depending on where you live.

I have used complementary therapies in my own life experience, and have found that they can be wonderfully helpful and supportive, in addition to help I've experienced through conventional medicine. I will never claim to heal or cure, however I can offer you therapies which may help you in your life, in addition to regular medical care and intervention.

Training, qualifications & experience

January - May 2014 - Completed NLP, Hypnotherapy & Timeline Practitioner accelerated training with Opt2XL - Certified trainers in each modality.

August 2014- June 2015 - Completed VTCT Diploma Level 3 in Complementary Therapies - Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology.
Also awarded VTCT Level 3 Health Eating for the Complementary Therapy Client.

Also awarded VTCT Endorsed course in Advanced Massage.

September - December 2015 - Completed VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Indian Head Massage.

Since qualification, I have treated (and continue to treat) a wide range of men and women, helping support them in active and busy lives, or to give them space to rest, and have personal relaxation time. I have experience in working with clients who have early onset Alzheimer's, and who are non-verbal. I have found this area of work especially rewarding.

I am currently adding to my qualifications, studying an NQ Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice. This course is deepening my understanding concerning the care and support of people within a healthcare environment, whether at home, hospitals or hospices. This qualification makes it possible for me to safely and appropriately treat people who have life-limiting illnesses, wherever they are on their journey, whether newly diagnosed, in remission, or at end-of-life. It is a profound privilege to work with people who are going through times in their lives when they need extra-special TLC. I am working in various palliative care settings during my qualification, and work alongside Health-Care Professionals, where we all have something to offer those we care for.
