Myofascial Release Specialist
I specialise in myofascial release, trigger point therapy and advanced massage techniques for private clients with medical diagnoses of chronic pain conditions and acute pain or injuries. I accept referrals from healthcare professionals or direct from private clients. Clients consult us following diagnosis of a range of chronic pain conditions and acute pain or sports injuries including:
- frozen shoulder
- golfers elbow
- headaches & migraines
- myofascial pain
- neck & back pain
- scar tissue
- tennis elbow
- TMJ & jaw pain
The Pain Care Clinic offers a unique combination of non-invasive advanced clinical massage therapy and bodywork techniques including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, sports massage and other massage techniques to create tailored programmes for individual private clients at our clinic locations in London Harley Street, Leeds Yorkshire or Brighton and Hove, Sussex.
Training, qualifications & experience
Amanda holds a BTEC Level 6 Professional Diploma in Advanced Clinical & Sports Massage. She has also continued with further advanced training in the following disciplines in the UK, Europe and the USA:
- Myofascial Release (with John Barnes)
- Craniosacral Therap (Upledger Institute)
- Visceral Manipulation (Jean Pierre Barral)
- Manual Therapy (The Centre For Professional Development in Osteopathy)
- Musculo-skeletal Anatomy (The Jing Institute)
Amanda is also a qualified Cognitive Hypnotherapist and adult education teacher. She has run the Pain Care Clinic since 2007.
