The film ‘Just One Drop’ produced by Laurel Chitten. 67 mins.
This is a film about homeopathy for those who would like freedom of choice in their healthcare.
Sunday 26th November 11am at the Wellesley Cinema, Wellington, Somerset, TA21 8AU.
Hosted by Elaine Watson, RSHom Registered Homeopath.
Laurel Chitten who made the film started out as a sceptic of homeopathy when investigating the use of homeopathic treatments for autistic children. But she kept hearing stories of people whose lives have been dramatically changed because of homeopathy. Eight years later the film had expanded to cover the history of homeopathy, its rise and fall in America, its enormous popularity in India, the controversy in the UK and the current debunking of a major scientific study in Australia.
The film is not about extolling the virtues of homeopathy but points out that we do have a choice in our healthcare and despite being maligned and misrepresented for 200 years homeopathy is still going strong and is available for those who would like to use it. It has always been available on the NHS in the UK. The reviewers say this is a very balanced and entertaining film which is catching the wave of popularity for those interested in an alternative form of healthcare.

About the host
I have been in practise as a registered homeopath for over 25 years working in the south west.My former life as a research scientist in microbiology and plant pathology has proved to be a useful platform from which to face the sceptics of homeopathy. I teach medical science to homeopaths and wish that people knew more about integrated healthcare.
