If you are curious about meditation and mindfulness, or have tried to have a go at meditation but can't seem to 'get' it, join me for this beginners course. We will explore:
- meditation and what 'it is'
- the benefits of meditation
- the importance of the breath
- meditation techniques
- understanding how meditation affects the mind body connection
- techniques for establishing a self-practice
This course is the perfect place for you, to dedicate regular time to yourself in order to allow for relaxation, letting go of stress and tension and finding more peace in a supportive, nurturing group environment free from judgement. Give yourself permission to quiet your mind from incessant racing thoughts and find a quiet space to connect to a calmer, clearer and more focused version of yourself. Learn some useful tips to take with you as part of your daily life, to assist you in taking back control in your life.
About the host
I first came to meditation as part of a yoga practice that was introduced to me by my dad. Throughout the years, I have come back to meditation at various points for the peace of mind, connection and feeling of being reset. For the past few years, I have come to take on a daily meditation practice as an integral part of my daily life.
