Scottish chronic pain patients sent to England for treatment

Labour MSP Jackie Baillie has revealed that the NHS in Scotland has spent more than £200,000 sending patients with chronic pain to England for treatment. 23 patients were sent to Bath in 2008-09, 18 in 2009-10 and 21 in the first six months of 2010- 11, amounting to a total cost of more than £620,000. read more »
